Hi, I got your blog address from Danielle Foltz's blog. The video brought tears to my eyes. I have two boys on the spectrum and my daughter has IS, Complex Partial Sz's, and has been dx'd with Tuberous Sclerosis.

We don't know for sure what caused our sons' Autism or our daughter's Epilepsy. I have halted all vaccinations for the time being. I am constantly pressured at doc's appointments to get them vaccinated. I just don't think it's worth the risk. I just don't think I can put our daughter especially through anything more than she has already been through. Wish I could have been there for the march in DC. Thanks for sharing the video.

Take care,
Shanna

Hi Karen!

I followed your link to this website, and as you know with Charlie, we still do not have a cause for his IS. We have the same neuro, so I am pretty sure the same tests were done. Vaccines terrify me now.
Charlie recieved his 4 month vaccines mid-February. In March, we went back for his 6 month checkup, but were not able to give him his 6 month shots because they need to be spaced 8 weeks apart. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think a "what if" about that moment. What if he would have gotten his DTAP etc., etc., Would he be worse? Was there a link? I am so confused and uneducated I think, but I know there will be no more vaccines until he develops more. He is WAY behind on his shots, and only recieved up to 4 months. Our OT said no shots until after 2.
My question is, what did Dr. Katerji say about the link to IS and vaccines?
Take care,
Molli

Sorry to post again but I wanted to ask you a couple of questions.

1. Do you have a guide for safe vaccine guide? Charlie only has 4 month shots and is 11 months.

2. What shots are mandatory? What are not? I have 3 boys, and they have added some within the past 5 years since my first son.

Thanks,

Hi Karen, I am so proud of you and your fine work on this blog. To all those reading this, Karen puts in countless hours researching vaccines and IS and takes any recommendations regarding these issues very seriously. She makes every attempt to present multiple data sets for consideration by all. Please think carefully when making any decisions regarding vaccinations. Knowing that the flu shot contains mercury will prevent me from taking for granted that getting one is automatically the right thing for me.

Best wishes for a healthy outcome for all!
